1. Click on the Secure Shell for Windows link above
2. On the resulting "save as" window, specify the "Save in:" location & click [SAVE]. 
3. The file will be downloaded and saved in the location specified, exit your browser (after printing these instructions if necessary).
4. Using "My Computer" or "Windows Explorer" go to the saved in location specified previously and  locate the "Secure Shell Client for Windows.exe" file and double-click it.   A self extracting zip  window will result. 
5. Click "OK" and proceed with the installation using the default settings.
6. Close all open windows.
7. Double Click the "SSH Secure Shell Client" icon on your desktop
8. Click "Quick Connect"
9. Enter the HOST NAME, USER NAME, and AUTHENTICATION METHOD for the computer you wish to connect to (ie. cc.ysu.edu for a UNIX1 connection)*

*you can create different connections by selecting "Profiles" instead of "Quick Connect" and entering the information as directed.
