Download and installation instruction (for Windows):
By downloading this software you agree to be bound by the license terms above

1. Click on the desired (by operating system) McAfee virus product link above
2. On the resulting "save as" window, specify the "Save in:" location & click [SAVE]. 
3. The file will be downloaded and saved in the location specified (please note the file name & location). Exit your browser (after printing these instructions if necessary)
4. Using "My Computer" or "Windows Explorer" go to the saved in location specified previously, locate the downloaded exe file and double-click it.
5. Click "OK" if prompted. Then Click "Set Up". The installation process will start automatically and a grey window will appear as the installation progresses. You will be notified that the application has been successfully installed by the McAfee shield being displayed.   If the grey box disappears before the shield is displayed, reboot your machine and start the installation process again beginning at step number 4 of these instructions.
6. Click on [YES] to reboot if prompted.
7. CLICK HERE for instructions to set up and automate your McAfee AntiVirus. (Requires Adobe Acrobat Reader)

IMPORTANT NOTE: In order for the software to install the current virus definitions and antivirus components, you must be connected to the Internet when the initial installation occurs. Otherwise you must download and install the current .dat file found below after the installation of the antivirus software. Failure to do so will result in ineffective and out of date protection.

The product can not be rented, loaned or leased. The customer shall not disclose the results of any benchmark test to any third party without Network Associates prior written approval. The customer will not publish reviews of the product without prior consent from Network Associates.
